What we do

Cloud Limo Pty Ltd provides a hosted booking, dispatch and payment platform to Australian hire car operators. Passengers book and pay on the operator's own branded site. Cloud Limo processes those payments on the operator's behalf through Stripe and charges the operator a platform fee. Cloud Limo is a software provider, not a transport provider: it does not own vehicles, employ drivers or carry passengers.

Who it is for

• Operators run their bookings, drivers and payments on Cloud Limo.
• Passengers book and pay for journeys on their operator's site.
• Account customers of an operator receive periodic invoices from that operator and settle them through the same platform.

How payments work

Cloud Limo is a Stripe Connect platform. Each operator holds their own Stripe account, and passenger payments are charged directly to that account. The operator's name appears on the passenger's receipt and card statement, and the operator receives the funds, less Stripe's processing fee. Cloud Limo does not hold or receive passenger funds. Cloud Limo charges the operator a fixed platform fee on each transaction, collected by Stripe from the same payment.

Refunds and disputes

Refunds for a journey are decided by the operator under the operator's terms and issued from the operator's Stripe account. Contact the operator named on your receipt first. Card disputes are handled between the passenger's bank, Stripe and the operator. Cloud Limo will assist any party on request at the contact details below. Platform fees charged to operators are governed by the operator agreement and are not returned when a journey is refunded.

Cancellations

Journey cancellations follow the operator's published cancellation policy, shown on the operator's site at the time of booking. Operators may end their Cloud Limo subscription under the operator agreement.

This site is informational. The service provided to operators is governed by the Cloud Limo operator agreement, and each operator's service to passengers is governed by that operator's own terms. These pages are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Cloud Limo collects the booking, contact and payment details needed to provide the service to operators and their passengers, holds them in Australia, and does not sell them. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by Cloud Limo. Requests about personal information go to the contact details below.
